This is the third book in the series about Giomar T. Ortiz. The first book called; “Super Giomar X” and book number two is “Super Giomar X Returns.” I am not sure he really is a teenager. He is 13 years old. He loves the color green. Giomar is great at copying others in conversation, tasks and talents. He has a photographic mind and can sing very well. What a fun book! The author has chronicled many of her conversations with her teenage boy with autism. His unique, sweet way of looking at everyday items will for sure bring a smile to every reader's heart. It's a reminder for all of us to look at the simple things in life and enjoy every moment. Too often we miss the beautiful things that the 'moment' brings. I'm a counselor and work with kids teaching friendship skills friendshipcraze.com. In mental health the big wave right now is 'mindfulness'. That is the key to mental health, many advocates believe. As a counselor I try to teach this to clients and this book is an excellent example of Giomar who looks for the simple things in life and gets wonder and joy from them.
